XD Consulting will speak on novel energy efficiency and retrofitting project financing in Cork on 26th February
Xavier Dubuisson, XD Consulting’s managing director, was invited to speak at Energy Cork’s next Breakfast Briefing. It will take place on Thursday 26th February from 0700-0830 am at the Gresham Metropole Hotel, MacCurtain Street, Cork.
This Breakfast Briefing will focus on novel energy efficiency and retrofitting project financing, which we know is live issue for energy users, contractors and suppliers alike. The briefing will hear about commercial projects as well as domestic and community projects.
The speakers at the Breakfast Briefing will be:

Xavier is a consulting engineer with over 16 years experience in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency. He came to West Cork from Belgium to work at SEAI’s Renewable Energy Information Office where he was instrumental in the radical transformation of the market and policy-framework for renewables in Ireland. He has been working as a consultant since 2007 and created XD Consulting in 2011, offering integrated, multidisciplinary services in the field of sustainable energy for the private and public sector. He has pioneered local energy planning in Ireland and continues supporting communities making the transition to a low-carbon, resilient future.
Frank Caul is the managing director of Sirus Air Con and is one of the two senior partners who created the Sirus group of companies now employing almost 100 people across the country. He has over thirty years’ experience in the heating ventilation and air conditioning business (HVAC) and has operated in this energy sector space for all of his working life. Sirus’ main services are the installation and maintenance of building energy management systems (BEMS) and HVAC services to many different sectors including pharmaceuticals, education & healthcare.
Recent examples of where Sirus has helped clients to dramatically reduce the energy consumption include Tesco, Primark and Dunnes Stores, UCC and Avocent.
A light breakfast buffet will be served from 7am and the briefing will commence at 7.30 am sharp.
